Privacy Policy
TaleBox ("we", "the App") is an audio storytelling app for children. We take privacy seriously and have designed the app to collect as little personal data as possible.
What we collect
- Subscription state. When you subscribe to TaleBox Premium, Apple In-App Purchase processes the transaction. We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com), a third-party service, to validate receipts and track entitlement status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier, your subscription product ID, and the renewal/expiration timestamps. We do not receive your Apple ID, real name, email, or payment details.
- Local app data. The app stores small flags on your device (onboarding completion, selected interface language, favorite tales) using the system's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
- Crash and performance data. Apple may collect anonymous diagnostic data if you have opted in via iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements. We do not run any third-party analytics SDK.
What we do not collect
- No name, email, phone number, or address.
- No location data.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
- No advertising identifiers; we do not show ads.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
Children's privacy
TaleBox is designed for families and children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Third parties
- Apple Inc. — handles all payments and subscription management. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — receipt validation and subscription state. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — serves audio and image assets via R2 storage. Standard server logs (IP address, request time, asset path) may be retained for security and abuse prevention. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Your rights
You may delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app. To cancel an active subscription, open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TaleBox Premium → Cancel.
To request deletion of any data RevenueCat may hold tied to your anonymous identifier, contact us at the address below and we will assist.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be at this URL.
